01No data collection
Pico does not collect personal information. The app does not transmit your topics, cards, notes, hints, examples, study history or any other content to any server operated by us or by a third party.
02On-device storage only
Everything you create in Pico lives locally on your iPhone. Your topics, cards, marked-as-hard flags, archived items, review statistics and settings are stored in the app's private container on iOS.
When you uninstall Pico, all of that data is removed along with the app. There is no backup on our side to restore from.
03No analytics, no advertising
Pico does not include any analytics SDKs, crash telemetry services, or advertising networks. We do not profile you, track which cards you study, or sell anything about your behaviour.
04App Store distribution
Pico is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect aggregated, anonymised information about downloads, crashes or device types in accordance with their own policies. We have no control over the App Store itself and recommend reviewing Apple's privacy practices separately.
05Children
Pico is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors because we do not collect information at all. Parents and guardians are welcome to use Pico alongside their children.
06Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or in the law. The most recent version will always be available at this URL. Material changes will be noted at the top of the document.
